Does it cost anything to work with Autumn Healthcare?
No. As an independent broker we are paid by the insurance carriers, not by you. You pay the same premium whether you enroll on your own or with our guidance.
What is a Scope of Appointment and why do I need one?
A Scope of Appointment (SOA) is a CMS-required form completed before a Medicare consultation. It documents which plan types you want to discuss and protects you as a consumer. It is completed when you schedule.
What is the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement?
Medicare Advantage is an all-in-one private plan that replaces Original Medicare and usually includes drug coverage and extras. A Supplement (Medigap) works alongside Original Medicare to cover out-of-pocket costs. The right choice depends on your health, budget, and providers.
When can I change my Medicare plan?
During the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 – Dec 7), the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (Jan 1 – Mar 31), or a Special Enrollment Period triggered by a qualifying life event.
Can I get help with Marketplace insurance if I am under 65?
Yes. We are certified on Healthcare.gov, Pennie (PA), and Get Covered NJ, and we help individuals and families find affordable ACA plans and claim every subsidy they qualify for.
What states are you licensed in?
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
Do you work with all insurance companies?
We represent multiple top carriers and shop across them for your best fit. We do not offer every plan available in your area — you can always contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE for all options.
